Replication is often referred to as "pressed" discs. The discs are created through an injection molding process where the data is actually part of the physical discs. Duplication is often referred to as "burned" discs. The data is burnt to the surface of the recordable disc.
An audio CD can hold 74 minutes of audio within Red-Book Standard guidelines. A CD-ROM can hold 650MB of data.
We will check to ensure your master is created to Red-Book (audio CD) or Yellow-Book (CD-ROM) guidelines. We will not review for appropriate sequencing, EQ levels, track spacing or ambient noise. It's important to 100% review your content - what you provide will be exactly what your receive in your final product.
Our preference for master is a physical CD fully authored for CD. We also accept a digital master formated as a DDP Image file. DDP file is a Data file and is not a viewable format. Please contact one of our project specialists at help@ommCD.com for a secure link to upload.
CD-Text is a language written in the sub-codes of your master that can be read by certain audio CD players. These types of players are typically set top players and car CD players.
